These pages are aimed at those currently studying - whether this be a non-law degree, law degree, GDL or LPC.  They will also be of assistance to anyone currently looking for a training contract, whether they are a student or not.

Qualifying as a solicitor is no easy task, you will have more exams to look forward to, longer hours of study and have to fund the courses yourself. There is a lot of information you'll have to find for yourself which is where the TSG comes in.

The TSG represents students:

• on an exempting law degree
• on a Diploma in Law
• on an integrated course
• studying for the post-graduate diploma in law (PGDL)
• on the Legal Practice Course
• enrolled with the Law Society

The TSG also represents those who are currently looking for a training contract, no matter what level they are at.  You may currently be working as a paralegal with a view to acquiring a training contract with your firm or elsewhere. 

These pages are deisgned to give assistance in accessing information on the legal profession.  The information on these pages ranges from which degree course to do all the way to the deadlines for training contract applications and everything in between.
