A WINNING EVENT

The evening was a real success with a great turnout from local law firms Hatchers Solicitors, Wace Morgan, Lanyon Bowdler, Talbots Solicitors and their family and friends, local financial consultants, ILEX students etc.  The evening was very well attended and we raised a total of £300.  £150 will be donated to the Severn Hospice charity and the rest to the Shropshire TSG to fund future events.

The winning team was "Hatchers Picles".

The quizmaster was Philip Beardwell of PCB Solicitors, and organising the event was Mhairi Letcher of Hatchers Solicitors (Chairman of the Shropshire TSG) and Lucy Scott (Secretary of the Shropshire TSG) of Lanyon Bowdler.

ABOUT US!

We meet about once a quarter, and generally just for social drinks evenings in local venues.  Mhairi Letcher is the Chairman of the group, and Lucy Scott of Lanyon Bowdler Solicitors is the Secretary.  It is quite a small group (though membership appears to be growing at an alarming rate which is great news!).

We alter the meeting venues and types of social event on a regular basis to avoid each event being too similar, and we haven’t confirmed the next event yet (to be held in the New Year) - check back here for further details to follow...
