Law Fairs and Open DaysLAW FAIRS AND OPEN DAYS
Universities and Law Faculties across the country hold law fairs for their students. The typical law fair includes the firms in the Region, along with the City firms, coming along to exhibit and talk to students about their training contracts and the choices ahead of them. Some fairs also invite firms to give talks to the students, and to give them some information about applications for law school and how to get a training contract.
The TSG attends various law fairs across the country, mainly on a local or regional basis. However, the National TSG are happy to answer any requests to speak at law fairs or to assist you in locating one near you. Please email policy@tsg.org for assistance.
Open Days are run by Law Schools to give potential students an insight into how that law school works and the facilities on offer. They are very similar to university open days, and are intended to assist you in selecting which law school is right for you. It is recommended that you attend one, as your choice of law school is important - although in the end may well be made for you in terms of cost and/or geographical location.
