TSG Local Group: Lancashire

Introduction

Calling all those in Lancashire ! Following a quiet spell the LTSG has been resurrected and is open to all trainees, paralegals and students throughout Lancashire. The group aims to provide help and support to all members…and also promises to be lots of fun!

Recent Events

LTSG kicked off it's social calendar back in October by hosting a free drinks evening at Richmonds Brasserie in Blackburn. The vino flowed all night ensuring a good time was had by all and placed LTSG firmly back in the professional social arena!

Next came New Year's Dinner and Dancing (..on tables!!) at Bistro French in Preston at the end of January. Trainees gathered from accross the area with even Blackburn and Burnley fans putting their differences aside to enjoy the entertainment!

LTSG's most recent event saw us join forces with the area's young accountants and surveyors to host a 'Networking and Winetasting' evening delivered by Dale Carnegie Training and Lakeland Vintners at Barton Grange Hotel near Preston. Barriers were broken, relationships built and copious amounts of wine consumed! Much regret was voiced by those driving home and it was with heavy hearts that the fantastic samples had to be poured away...many vowed to ditch the car next time!! 

Forthcoming Events

Following on from the success of the Networking and Winetasting we have decided to co - host events with the accountants for the rest of the year. Details of the next rendezvous are yet to be finalised but we are hoping to hold a summer barbeque around June and an 'It's a knockout' style competition has been mentioned so WATCH THIS SPACE!!

We also have a Casino Night Ball scheduled for October time so looks like lots of fun is on the horizon for LTSG!!
