TSG Local Group: Hertfordshire

The Hertfordshire TSG is a group for trainee solicitors, newly qualified solicitors and LPC students based in or around the Hertfordshire area. It provides a social forum as well as dealing with career related matters and activities. Being involved in the TSG is a great way to make contacts with other young members of the profession.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! (Sorry it is a bit late!)  Hope you all had a great Xmas and New Year! 

For those of you who came to our pre-Christmas celebrations at Jongleurs Comedy Club in November it was great seeing you and we hope you had a fab night!  Well done to Simone Parchow who won a fantastic bottle of Champagne in our prize draw courtesy of Totally Legal.

Now we’re officially in 2007 its time to organise some more great nights out. Here’s a sample of what we have in store………..

Charity Quiz in aid of Shelter, a charity helping the homeless.
 
Date: Thursday 1st March 2007
 
Price:  £5 per person
 
Venue: The White Lion (Watford)

This event is being sponsored by Totally Legal and is open to everyone, so spread the word, the more money we can raise for charity the better!  Please let Shelley (details below) know if you would be interested in attending so we have an idea of numbers.  You can apply as a team or individually!
 
APRIL
 
Wine Tasting Evening.  This night will involve a talk with a wine expert and sampling lots of lovely wines…so leave the car keys at home!

Charity 10k Run!

Date: Sunday 20th May 2007
 
Price:  £10 per person
 
Venue: St Albans

This is a great way to get ready for summer and you get to do your bit for charity too so come and join the Herts TSG team in running the 10K in St Albans!

To help everyone get ready for the event we will be holding weekly training sessions in St Albans and in Watford for all levels, starting in March.
 
As we are raising money for charity we will be asking each participant to raise £50 in sponsorship.
