International Zone

Welcome to the International Zone where you can find out more about the TSG's international activities and obtain plenty of useful information concerning issues such as qualification and practice in foreign jurisdictions, work opportunities abroad, or guidance for Non-EEA students wanting to practise in England and Wales.

You will also find information regarding conferences, seminars, parties, essay prizes and other events with an international element, that you can participate in.

The International Zone is regularly updated, so please come and visit us often to keep in touch with the TSG's very latest international news.

Scholarship to attend IBA Annual Conference

This year the International Sales, Franchising and Product Law Section is offering a scholarship to a young lawyer who wishes to participate in the IBA Annual Conference, but is unable to do so owing to financial constraints. The scholarship award for 2006 includes the following:

Contribution towards registration and travel costs for the IBA Annual Conference, Chicago, 17-22 September 2006;
Six nights hotel accommodation;

Two year’s free IBA membership including membership of one LPD Committee and one PPID Constituent;

A waiver of either the next IBA Annual Conference registration fee or the registration fee of one of the chosen committees’ specialist conferences in 2007; and

Free membership of the Scholarship Alumni Group.
